Patient Details:
This is a 62-year-old female, who was initially diagnosed with left sided breast cancer years ago. She underwent a left-sided lumpectomy with postlumpectomy radiation therapy. She has now developed another cancer in the left breast, and secondary to the fact that she has had radiation therapy, autologous tissue in the form of a DIEP flap was performed to recreate natural breasts.
