Meet The Staff

Michelle is a patient coordinator and office administrator for the ECAPS team. She also leads our New York City location, Medique. Michelle assists patients with scheduling appointments and provides them with a sense of comfort from initial phone call to office visit and throughout their journey. She earned her B.S at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Media Communications and Marketing and uses her knowledge towards her Marketing role at Medique. Michelle is also certified in treatments such as laser hair removal, microneedling, and IPL. She is a well-rounded individual who is passionate about the medical field and takes pride finding opportunities to help patients, staff, and the practice.

Playing a key role on our team, Carol is one of our patient coordinators. Her role involves handling appointments and assisting with patient care. She attended Berkeley College to broaden her Business Administration understandings. Carol is also bilingual and can help with our Spanish speaking patients. Her passion for helping others and her warm demeanor is what makes her best suited for this role.

With extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Kathy is a veteran medical assistant. She prides herself in providing a warm and kind patient care and advocacy. Kathy goes above and beyond to make our patients feel at ease and ensures they are in a caring environment.

Mairelis is an experienced medical assistant with a passion for patient care. She is known for her warm welcome, calm demeanor, and gentle touch.

Mairelis became a part of the ECAPS family in 2013 and she continues to expand with the practice providing patient care and administrative support. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and spends her free time with family and friends.

Salam is our surgical coordinator for Dr. Mazen Bedri and Dr. Charbel Chalfoun. She completed her undergraduate degree at Montclair State University with a focus in Athletic Training. Salam found herself in the field of Plastic Surgery since 2013 and has become an expert at navigating patients through their journey here at ECAPS. Salam is known to reply within minutes to phone calls, emails and text messages at any given moment whether at work or from home, and patients adore their relationship with her.

Rut is one of our newest team members at ECAPS who holds the role as the patient navigator for Dr. Jonathan Keith. She is extremely ambitious and despite being a licensed Medical Assistant, she is continuing her education to become a registered nurse with hopes to become a Nurse Practitioner. She pursues these challenges with amazing energy, all with the goal of being able to treat every aspect of every patient, all with the emotional sensitivity and prowess. She currently navigates patients from scheduling appointments to coordinating referrals and uses her clinical experience during pre and post op appointments in the patient rooms.

Rut is extremely vibrant and passionate about her patients and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

As the patient coordinator and office administrator for Dr. Charbel Chalfoun and Dr. Mazen Bedri and joined ECAPS in 2018. Natalia assists patients with scheduling appointments and provides patients with a sense of comfort from the initial phone call or office visit throughout their journey. She earned her B.S at Rutgers University, where she studied Psychology and Biology. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish. Natalia has a passion for the medical field and takes pride finding opportunities to help others. She offers every patient a genuine smile and an unbreakable positive attitude.

As a Surgical Coordinator with over 20 years of experience in plastic surgery, Lina is here to help schedule patient’s procedures and ensure they feel informed, supported, and at ease every step of the way. Lina’s background began in clinical care, where she developed a strong foundation and deep appreciation for patient relationships. She was later offered a position in surgical coordination—a role where she truly found her passion and shines. Lina absolutely loves what she does, and strives to make each patient’s experience smooth, comfortable, and positive from start to finish.

Chelsea is the surgical coordinator for Dr. Stephen Viviano and Dr. Hari Ayyala. With over 15 years of experience as a medical assistant, Chelsea brings deep clinical knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care. She transitioned into surgical scheduling three years ago and has since specialized in coordinating procedures for breast and reconstructive surgery. Before joining our team, Chelsea was doing surgical scheduling for breast surgeons, giving her a strong foundation of breast surgery.

With extensive and varied experience in the medical field, Carmela has the deepest respect for each patient’s needs and upholds the highest standards of confidentiality. From beginning to end, Carmela guides patients through their journey with exceptional care and compassion. Carmela fosters a caring and supportive environment, ensuring all patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their medical experience. She is fluent in both English and Italian.
