Facial Plastic Surgery Procedures
Conveniently Located to Serve Hoboken, Ridgewood, Livingston, Pompton Plains, and Manhattan/NYC
We greet the world face first. Facial procedure candidates know that it’s not just about trimming years off your face, it’s about changing the way you perceive yourself. When we eliminate wrinkles, crow’s feet, or sagging eyelids, you can look in the mirror and see a more youthful face looking back. We think you’ll agree that when it comes to your reflection, it’s important to look as young as you feel. At East Coast Advanced Plastic Surgery, our mission is to help you achieve that more youthful look.
Forehead / Brow Lift Surgery (Browplasty)
Aging can leave even the happiest people looking sad or angry, and the most energetic looking fatigued. The truth is that the world reads you by the expression on your face—and it can be hard to feel like your true self when you feel like it’s telling the wrong story.
Nose Reshaping and Reconstruction (Rhinoplasty)
The nose is the centerpiece of the face, and the structure of the nose is fundamental to the face’s overall symmetry and proportionality. Nose surgery—also called rhinoplasty—can dramatically improve the balance of features even when done with great subtlety and finesse.
Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty)
Our eyes are often our best features—as the saying goes, the windows of the soul. We see the world through our eyes, and the world reads us back through them. But heavy upper eyelids or puffy lower eyelids due to aging or heredity can make us appear tired, upset, or even sad when we actually feel energized and cheerful.
Facelift Surgery (Rhytidectomy)
As we all know, aging profoundly changes almost everything about our faces. The overall effect is often the appearance of a sagging, weariness across all of its features. But today, facelifts can restore dynamism and youth to mature faces with far more subtlety and nuance than ever before.
Facial Fat Grafting
Injecting fat into the human face may seem like a counter-intuitive way to achieve a more youthful look, until you understand the unique ways that aging affects the face. As we age, the skin is pulled and stretched by the ever-present force of gravity. This increases the surface area of the skin, meaning that your face appears to lose volume as you age. This, in addition to other forces, can lead to lines, wrinkles, and other unflattering formations that can make the face appear older. The solution to this problem is to increase the amount of volume present in the face.
Neck Lift (Platysmaplasty)
Over time, loss of elasticity in the skin, muscle tone, and accumulated fat can lead to an overall sagging of the features. The skin around the neck is particularly susceptible to stretching and wrinkling because it is thinner than skin on other parts of the body and contains less collagen. As you age, the result is often that unfortunate wrinkly waddle of loose skin that people often refer to as “turkey neck.”
Fat Injections / Fat Grafting
Fat Injection also called Fat Grafting is a procedure that transfers fat from one area of the body (usually thighs, buttocks, or hips) to another. This procedure is usually used to improve signs of aging, most commonly in the face. It can be used to increase volume in thinning lips, smooth small wrinkles and creases, and restore fullness in the cheeks.
Chin Augmentation (Mentoplasty / Genioplasty)
A good chin can be the subtle key to a facial harmony and symmetry. When performed by a skilled plastic surgeon, a chin augmentation or chin reduction can improve the appearance of the entire face.
Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Let’s face it, no one wants their ears to be the first thing people notice about them. But large, protruding, or unattractive ears need not be a distraction from your more attractive features. Ear surgery or otoplasty can be an excellent option for refining overly prominent ears and restoring harmony to your face.
Lip Augmentation Injections
Lip augmentation injections use various kinds of injected collagen, fat, or other medical-grade substances to create fuller, plumper lips. This procedure can also reduce fine lines around the mouth. It is important to note that because these substances are absorbed by the body, injections will not be permanent. For those interested in a more permanent solution, other implantable materials are available.
