I don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one. I find that the reviews that are most helpful to me are those that focus on the facts. So here are my facts about Dr. Bedri and his team who treated me for my breast cancer reconstruction. I had numerous office visits and 4 surgeries from 2024 to 2026. Fact - I’ve worked for doctors, have seen many doctors in my lifetime, and have had multiple surgical procedures. The longest, most thorough consultation I ever had with a doctor was with Dr. Bedri. It was evident that, before he even entered the room, he had thoroughly reviewed my medical records and discussed my case with my breast surgeon. He spent over an hour with me and my husband. He gave me the time, space, and information I needed to make one of the hardest decisions of my life. Fact - I never had a doctor offer me their personal cell phone number. Dr. Bedri gave me his the first day we met and invited me to call him anytime with any questions or concerns. Fact - For every other surgical procedure I ever had, prescriptions were given to me when I was leaving. But, Dr. Bedri’s office made sure I was given prescriptions well in advance. I had time to get them filled, wait out insurance and pharmacy delays, familiarize myself with the medications, and educate my caretakers about them. Fact - Late at night before my first surgery, I had an allergic reaction to the prescribed body wash. At 11 p.m. one of his physician assistants called me to talk me through what to do. Throughout my care, as issues arose, a physician assistant was only a phone call or a text away and I was always responded to promptly. Fact - Dr. Bedri came to see me in the hospital on a Sunday as I was recovering from one of the surgeries. It was not an emergency and I wasn’t having any issues. Fact - During one pre-op, multiple nurses were having a hard time giving me an IV. Dr. Bedri stood by my side and held my hand until it was done. Fact - My occupational therapist, my neurologist, and a saleswoman at a store specializing in bras for breast reconstruction patients saw my breasts in various stages of reconstruction. Although I expect these professionals usually keep their opinions to themselves, these women did not hold back commenting positively about my appearance. One told me, “It sure looks like your doctor knows what he’s doing” and the neurologist described my progress as “Amazing!” and demanded to know Dr. Bedri’s contact information so she could refer him to her family member. These are some of my most outstanding memories that the care I received from Dr. Bedri and ECAPS was truly above and beyond. My opinion is that he and his staff are more than I could have ever wished for during the greatest health challenge of my life. My family and I were treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. I received top-notch care and treatment. I’m enjoying optimal health and remarkable aesthetic results due to their vast experience, hard work, and dedication. I'm so thankful to Dr. Bedri and the team at ECAPS!
