Patient Details:
51 year old female with right breast cancer underwent a right total mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction. This was followed by a nipple areola reconstruction and tattooing. Notice the more elevated and thereby symmetric position of the right nipple areola complex. Reconstruction not only allows for restoration of the breast to its previous form, but also an improvement from its previous form when appropriate.
