Breast Conservation techniques use lumpectomy and radiation therapy to provide an equivalent treatment when compared to a mastectomy. The final result is a symmetric and aesthetic appearing reconstruction, without lumpectomy contour deformities or volume differences between the breasts. The hyperpigmentation on the right is from post lumpectomy radiation therapy.
