Patient Details:
Left breast cancer decided to do a double nipple sparing mastectomy. Sometimes the breast surgeons use hidden incisions under the breast, in this patient they used lateral incisions. With 2 stage reconstruction starting with a tissue expander allows the patient to choose her volume (the expander is adjustable) before having her final implant placed. In our patient here she wanted to be the same size she was pre-operatively.
